The yarn
Are colorways consistent skein-to-skein?
Within a dye lot, yes. Across dye lots, hand-dyed yarn varies — that's a feature. For a single project, buy all your skeins from the same lot (the lot number is on the band).
Can I swatch before committing to a sweater quantity?
Yes. We recommend it. Buy one skein, knit a 4×4" square in your needle of choice, wash it, measure. Then come back for the rest.
What if I run out mid-project?
If we still have your dye lot, we'll ship more at standard rates. If we don't, we'll honestly tell you whether the next-closest lot is workable for stripe-blending.
Limited Editions
How limited is a Limited Edition?
Fifty skeins per drop, hand-dyed in our Vancouver studio. Once they're gone, that colourway is done — we don't re-run them. See the current month at Limited Editions.
When do drops go live?
The first Friday of the month, 10am Pacific. Limited Editions — Monthly subscribers get one shipped automatically before the public listing opens.
Subscriptions
Can I skip a month?
Yes. From your account dashboard, click 'Skip next shipment.' No phone call, no email, no friction.
Can I switch between subscriptions?
Yes. Cancel one and start another from your account, same login. Browse all five at Subscriptions.
What if I get a colourway I don't like?
You can swap a mystery skein for store credit within 30 days, unwound only. The whole point of mystery packs is taking some risk — we curate them carefully but taste varies.
How much yarn comes in each one?
- Single Skein Mystery Pack — one skein, monthly
- Three Skein Mystery Pack — three coordinated skeins, monthly
- Sock Club — two fingering-weight skeins, quarterly
- Sweater Club — ten skeins of one colourway, enough for a full sweater, quarterly
- Limited Editions — Monthly — one Limited Edition skein, monthly

Can I return yarn?
Yes, within 30 days, unwound only. Send it back free. Wound or partial skeins can't be re-sold so we can't accept those.
Care
How do I wash my finished knits?
It depends on the base. See the Care Guide — short version: hand wash cool for Vapour and Cabin, machine cool for Air, machine warm for Recycle.
