Loop Fabric Co. exists because the modern knitter — the one in their 20s and 30s and 40s and 50s who came in via TikTok or a queer fiber-arts meet-up or a sustainability rabbit-hole — has been served pastoral nostalgia for a hundred years and pretty much nothing else.

We're plant-forward. We're modern. We're editorial. We commit to one thing per skein: that you can see the work, the dye, and the sourcing, and that none of it requires a watercolor sheep on the label.

Plant-fiber forward

Three of our four house bases — Vapour (lyocell-merino), Air (hemp-cotton-linen), and Recycle (recycled cotton) — are plant-based. The fourth, Cabin, is wool-cashmere-nylon from RWS-certified non-mulesed flocks. We're not anti-wool. We're pro-honest-sourcing.

Limited Editions, made in-house

Every month we release a new Limited Edition — hand-dyed in our Vancouver studio in runs of 50 skeins. No collabs, no outside dyers. The colourways are ours. When the fifty are gone, that one's done.
